Course Overview

This self-directed module provides staff with a foundational understanding of essential food hygiene and safety practices, aligned to Level 2 Food Safety Standards. Participants will explore key principles required to maintain safe food environments and comply with legal and organisational responsibilities.

By the end of the module, learners will understand food hazards, food hypersensitivity, relevant legislation, and the importance of personal hygiene, pest control, and effective waste management and cleaning protocols.
